Jesus!

I did some tattoo flash some time ago for a friend and this is one of the better pieces, in my opinion. None of them looked very "tattoo-y", but I was still happy with this one just as an illustration.

Hang Ten, POTUS!

This is a t-shirt design I did about a month or two ago of the president bodysurfing. He's a former resident of Hawaii, and a company from there was eager to get some Obama inspired shirts out there for the locals. I hope the islands are filled with people wearing these! Aloha.

WW #26

I've been away for a while, I know. So I came across another old Wetworks cover I did years back and thought I'd take you all along with me down memory lane. :)

Free Realms Concept

I can actually finally show you a piece of concept art I worked on for the Free Realms MMORPG coming out this April through Sony Online Entertainment. This is a changeling...long story behind them, I guess you will just have to play the game to find out! Register for the beta testing coming very soon at freerealms.com...and make sure to read more about the game and check out more concept art and screenshots by going to http://www.massively.com/2009/02/16/visualizing-free-realms-an-interview-with-art-director-rosie-ra/ :)

Angel in the Woods

This one is a greeting card I drew a few years back for, obviously, a greeting card company. :) Just another oldie but a goodie to hold everyone over until the next post...which will be a new piece! Yay! :P Happy New Year everyone!

Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em!

This is a piece of tattoo flash I did a couple of years ago with pen and colored pencil...just a little taste of something while I come up with some new stuff to post... :)

Ken in Brooklyn

Here, have a small snack of some of my older work while I try to rustle up something new. :) Yet again one more piece from a line of t-shirts I did for a client in NY. Still pretty happy with this one.

Digital Painting is coming along...

Those of you who check out my DeviantArt page will have already seen these, but I thought I'd post 'em anyway. I feel there has been some progression in my painting abilities, but I have much to learn. Enjoy.

Impulse 60 Cover

Hey there, I have returned from my long hiatus from the blog. I have a few things to post over the next couple of days, but for now I will wet your appetites with an old cover I did for DC's Impulse book. This is also a reminder for me of when I lived in NY(the background I drew sitting in a park), still my favorite city. And God rest the souls of the victims of 9/11. Living in Brooklyn at the time I experienced more than I would have liked of that horrible day in our nation's history.

Free Realms Screenshots

I'm so excited about the game(MMORPG actually) we are working on over at SOE called Free Realms. I really think people of all ages will enjoy it greatly. The art has really come along and I thought I'd share a few screenshots of the game with you...Beta testing this fall! :)

Bart Saves Lack of Posts!

Since Con is coming up, I'm fondly reminded of my previous career in comics. So I feel obligated to share an oldie but a goodie, one of my favorite covers I drew. It's from Impulse: Bart Saves the Universe, a graphic novel for DC Comics. I really enjoy the awesome inks by Edwin Rosell and vivid colors by Rob Ro. Hope to see some of you at the convention, I might even do some sketches!

Quest For...some time to Paint

I received the go-ahead to post the two cards I digitally painted for the third installment of Everquest's Legends of Norrath card game. I didn't have a lot of time with these ones considering all of the freelance work I had on my plate at the time. I wish I could have done more with them, but no excuses...here ya go!

Old Comic Stuff

Still posting older stuff, not too much new to show. This is an old comic book fill-in page I did for the Ladytron oneshot for Wildstorm Ent. several years back. I had to emulate the style of the main penciler on the book, I think it looks pretty close. Some figure drawings coming up next!

Elyse in Paris

I know, it's been a while since my last post, so I thought I'd put at least something up. I have nothing I can really show of my recent work due to non-disclosure agreements, so here's another piece from that high contrast style line of t-shirts I drew. I actually have a few more from this line, so expect another similar post in the future! :) Laters.

Ringing in the New Year

Hey there! Happy New Year to everyone. I finally received the thumbs-up to post these cards I digitally painted in Photoshop for the Legends of Norrath card game. That's Everquest, for those that do not know. It was my first attempt at digital painting, or any painting really, at least since high school. So don't judge too harshly! :)

Sketchy Winter

My girlfriend Jennifer's family is having a Round Robin for Christmas(still not really sure what that is! :) )so I drew this quick 5-10 minute sketch to contribute. Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas!

Just thought I'd send out some holiday cheer this month with an old Santa Claus greeting card I did a few years ago. They were to be sold to various casinos in Las Vegas. Sometimes even Santa needs to kick back and relax, even if it involves gambling. :) Happy Holidays, everyone!

Bad, Bad Putty Tat

This piece is some old tattoo flash I hand drew, then today decided to vectorize it to clean it up a bit. Don't pet that kitty...

Look Out!

Hey there boys and girls, yet another older piece. This one's only about two years old, so I think it still holds up. It was the back cover for a card game set I illustrated. I also did all of the concept designs for the the other main characters in the game. It's a bit more high-fantasy realism than my normal style, but it was really fun and satisfying breaking out of the confines of my style.
